Phoenix Capital presents its proprietary AI-driven platform designed to serve the innovation and corporate sectors: a high-value ecosystem of integrated services built around the “Innovation as a Service” model.
Imagine receiving, within five days, an in-depth technical analysis of promising startups and vertical solutions tailored to specific industries, complete with pitches, data, metrics, and business cases aligned with the client’s precise needs. Plus, quarterly reports, personalized AI agents, and direct contacts with founders, mentors, operators, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists from the world’s leading innovation ecosystems. Today, companies can have all of this at their fingertips: Fishtank is a true Innovation Office, configured as a single, customizable, and user-friendly platform.
THE GLOBAL INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM – Fishtank is designed and built for the innovation and corporate sectors: it serves as an interface that integrates the ecosystem of high-value services, relationships, data, and insights developed over the years by the Phoenix Innovation Center for corporations and startups, and now structured around the “Innovation as a Service” model. With a presence spanning Italy, Europe, and the Americas—where we operate through our U.S. subsidiary Phoenix Spark and three operational hubs in the world’s leading international innovation hubs: San Francisco, in the heart of Silicon Valley, with our Innovation Outpost at Innovit; and Houston and New York through our newly signed partnership with the Transatlantic Innovation Hub (TIH). Finally, we are strengthened by our membership in the Italian-Texan and Italian-American Chambers of Commerce of the Southeast (IACCSE) and a collaboration with Opportunities New Brunswick (Canada) to develop opportunities between their region and the Phoenix ecosystem.
THE SOLUTION – Fishtank is an Outsourced Innovation Office, a specialized tool that supports and enhances companies’ internal Innovation Divisions, ensuring impact, comprehensiveness, and depth of analysis in the world of innovation and investment funds through the constant implementation of AI-based tools and direct contacts with leading international partners.
Fishtank is the technological heart of the service. A platform that serves as a source of opportunities for clients to commission detailed analyses, explore insights and results, refine their scope of interest, and monitor target prospects as their business evolves. An operational platform that stays up-to-date on global technology trends, the VC market, startups, and business cases, complemented by direct connections to operators and key players within the world’s leading innovation ecosystems.
FISHTANK’S KEY STRENGTHS
Customized AI agents: Each client has access to an AI agent tailored to their industry, allowing them to query reports and startup databases using natural language, generate market intelligence reports, and receive a weekly industry press review.
Tailor-made scouting: Clients can request customized searches directly on the platform, based on their specific business needs.
Startup data room: a comprehensive list of analyzed startups, including pitches, metrics, business models, analysis of products and services offered, competitor and market monitoring, and the development of ad hoc business cases tailored to the client.
Quick due diligence: a complete technical analysis of any startup identified and entered independently by the client: a service guaranteed within 5 business days of the request.
Quarterly reports organized into five structured sections: technology trends, the global VC market, selected startups, concrete business cases, and continuous monitoring.
NUMBERS THAT UNDERPIN AND STRENGTHEN FISHTANK
- 7 team members with diverse expertise (VC, corporate finance, legal)
- +30 AI agents supporting our analyses, complemented by our strategic consulting
- 3 operational offices in the U.S. serving as permanent innovation observatories: San Francisco, Houston, and New York
- Membership in 2 U.S. Chambers of Commerce (Texas and Miami)
- Over 500 solutions mapped globally in the fintech/insurtech sector alone
QUARTERLY MONITORING AND REPORTING SERVICE – The reporting service is structured on a quarterly basis and follows defined steps: from establishing the guidelines and focus requested by the client to the scouting process; then, the production of reports, and direct contact with the founders of the most relevant startups to assess integration opportunities. All of this is conducted with the utmost anonymity for both the client and the monitored startups.
End-of-quarter steps: a meeting to present documentation and reports, and the upload of all documentation to Fishtank. Then, if the client is interested in exploring the solutions further, discussions begin between the corporate entity and the startup/company, and the client is supported throughout the negotiations.
Two exclusive initiatives round out the platform’s features:
- Phoenix Innovation Trip: an opportunity to take a trip to the heart of Silicon Valley, featuring exclusive meetings with venture capitalists, startups, accelerators, institutions, and universities. Participants will attend private events with the Bay Area tech ecosystem; hear from leading vertical startups in sectors of interest to attendees; and explore opportunities for development and integration in Italy.
- Phoenix Innovation Country Club: the chance to join a private and exclusive “club” where you can meet startups in person and experience innovation at private events.

“With Fishtank, we’re taking our consulting services and network into a new technological dimension where our consulting support is combined with the capabilities of over 30 integrated agentAIs—all within a single proprietary platform designed to serve our clients, who can interact with it and extract additional value on their own. I am convinced that the concept of Innovation as a Service, combined with the use of technology as a service, represents the future of consulting and our relationship with our corporate clients. “A new way to develop and integrate innovation that reduces the costs and timelines typical of traditional Open Innovation and accelerates product, business, and process integration—all thanks to direct access to the best innovations in Italy and globally,” emphasized Francesco Righetti, Director of the Phoenix Innovation Center, who developed the entire platform.
