The Innovation Division of Phoenix Capital has developed a new commercial and analysis tool specifically for the Italian bancassurance market: the PHX_DB_Bancassurance.
It is an updated and state-of-the-art database of almost 700 financial distributors operating in Italy and the related life and non-life commercial agreements, with details of the more than 80 related insurance companies.
Focused mainly on banks – which in turn are further classified as traditional commercial banks, banks with financial advisors, private banks, consumer credit banks and corporate banks – it is completed by a census of operators belonging to other important “financial” channels such as Financial Advisors, networks of insurance promoters and Family Offices.
For each operator surveyed, the PHX_DB_Bancassurance reports, in addition to a series of qualifying attributes, the number of appropriately categorised sales outlets and the specific bancassurance commercial agreements in place (declared either by the distributor or by the companies), broken down by life and non-life classes; with the result of providing a “snapshot” of the Italian bancassurance market at any time, with the possibility – for all operators interested in growing in bancassurance distribution – of identifying the areas with the greatest potential, the uncovered areas and the most relevant targeting opportunities for each.
Considering the mutability of a sector in constant evolution, an essential feature included is represented by the monthly update of the database, allowing its evolution from a simple one spot information tool to a powerful tool of continuous strategic-commercial information.
Advanced data presentation methods using the main market tools (e.g. PowerBi, Qlik Sense, …) are available on request as additional service features, as well as specific information verticalizations on specific targets (e.g. geographical, dimensional, per line of business, …) or the availability of information in digital multi-device mode.
The PHX_DB_Bancassurance is made available as a service to operators in the sector, both on premises and in the cloud, according to the needs of each player.
